Tzaddi in Psalms 119:137-144

Psa 119:137 Righteous are You, O יהוה, and tzadik are Your mishpatim.

Psa 119:138 Your testimonies that You have commanded are tzadik and very faithful.

YaHuWaH is Righteous, Just and always works according to His Torah . YaHuWaH’s judgments of blessings or curses (based upon obedience or disobedience) are upright and wholly just. YaHuWaH’s testimonies that He has commanded, constituted and set in order are righteous and altogether just. They are Truth and in obeying them we find stability, security and prosperity.

Psa 119:139 My zeal has consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten Your words.

Psa 119:140 Your word is very pure: therefore Your eved (servant) loves it.

My zeal and jealousy for YaHuWaH’s sake is so complete that it has fully caused any part of me to vanish. I am zealous for YaHuWaH’s sake because my enemies have forgotten YaHuWaH’s Commandments and His Word. YaHuWaH’s Word is very pure. It purifies my soul and purges away all of my spiritual dross, refining me like gold tried in the fire. This is a vital, saving work! And it is because YaHuWaH’s Word does this refining work in the life that I, His willing bond-servant, love it.

Psa 119:141 I am small and despised: yet I do not forget Your precepts.

Psa 119:142 Your tzedakah is an everlasting tzedakah, and Your Torah is the emet.

I am small and unimportant to this world and, because I am zealous for YaHuWaH, I am despised, scorned and contemptible to those around me. Yet, no matter what pressure comes, I still do not I forget YaHuWaH’s Commandments, Statutes and Precepts. YaHuWaH’s Righteousness is an everlasting Righteousness, and YaHuWaH’s Torah is the Truth.

Psa 119:143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet Your mitzvoth are my delights.

Psa 119:144 The tzedakah of Your testimonies is everlasting: give me binah (understanding), and I shall live.

Trouble, adversity, affliction and anguish beset me on every side: yet even amidst this pressure, I delight in Your Commandments and find great pleasure in keeping them. The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting. I was here when the world began and will continue forever. Give me the ability to understand Your Torah, and I shall live. You lovingly use it to make me whole, revive me and nourish me.

To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak [light]. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 8:20
